Family-operated local lawn care maintenance company

RD’s Total Lawn is a local lawn care company based out of Langhorne that was founded back in 2018. They take pride in conducting business in a small business setting while still being professional and consistent.

Ryan and Lindsay grew up in the local area. Graduating from Neshaminy High school and Bucks County Technical High school, Lindsay went on to Temple and Holy Family while Ryan attended Bucks County Community College and Aspen University. They are parents to three young children ages 7, 4, and 1 year old.

They have been blessed with great employees that care and want to do good. This small family business wanted to share their TOP FIVE things to do to prep for your lawn and landscape for winter:

  1. Fall Fertilizer: This last step in a treatment program is important to encourage deep root health of the lawn for winter and set up for a healthy comeback in the spring next year.
  2. Final Mows: You can mow less frequently in the fall but there is still some growth. Make sure not to leave your lawn long going into the winter. Grass likes to be cut short at year end.
  3. Leaf Removal: You want to ensure your yard is clear of leaves. Leaving leaves on the lawn can encourage bugs and insects to gather as well as bare and bald spots to come about.
  4. Shrub Trimming: Fall is a great time to trim those shrubs to encourage future growth.
  5. Perennial Cutbacks: Make sure to cut any perennials back such as grasses plants, hostas and other seasonal plants to ensure healthy regrowth next year.

The family appreciates your business and support! They encourage you to check out their reputation online! For more information, visit www.RDTotalLawn.com or call 215-267-1700.
