The Newtown Library Company to host 21st Annual Book Lovers Party Fundraiser February 22

The Newtown Library Company, the oldest operating library in Historic Bucks County, is excited to announce that it will hold its 21st annual fundraiser, The Book Lovers Party, on Saturday, February 22. The event will once again take place at The Atrium in the Stocking Works in Newtown Borough from 6 pm to 10 pm and will feature a fabulous array of hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, music, dancing, a silent auction, and many raffle items generously donated by local Newtown businesses and organizations. The Newtown Library Company’s Book Lovers Party is the library’s largest fundraiser of the year and has been a favorite of the Newtown community since 2002.

“We are thrilled to gather our community together once again to celebrate our historic Bucks County gem,” stated Johanna Hager, Board President of the Newtown Library Company. This fundraiser is more than an occasion; it’s a lifeline for sustaining our beloved library’s growth and impact. Your presence and support ensure that the chapters of our library’s future will be as rich and inspiring as the stories within its walls.”

The Book Lovers Party is open to the public and tickets can be purchased in advance at www.paypal.com/ncp/payment/AVVABMCJBKWNW or through the Newtown Library Company’s website at www.newtownlibrarycompany.org

Sponsorship and silent auction opportunities are available for this popular event, and are a great way to promote your company to the Newtown community, and include online and event promotion. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Newtown Library Company. For more information, call 215-968-7659.

This year, we will also be celebrating the 293rd birthday of a very special guest, George Washington. Thanks to Dream Art Jiu Jitsu of Doylestown, George will be in attendance from 7-8 pm. This is a unique opportunity to get your photo taken with George in his full uniform.
