Falls seeks new township manager

Falls Township is undertaking a formal search for a new Township Manager. Current Township Manager Matthew Takita will continue to serve in the role until his replacement is hired. Falls is accepting resumes through the first week of March and expects to hire a candidate by May.

“I have enjoyed serving the township and its residents in this role,” Takita said. “However, I look forward to focusing more on zoning and code enforcement tasks in the future.”

Takita will continue to serve as Falls Township’s Chief Code Enforcement Officer and Zoning Officer. He has 30 years of experience in zoning and code enforcement. Prior to joining Falls in 2019, he had served for 24 years as Bensalem Township’s Director of Building and Planning Department.

“We appreciate all of the effort Matt puts forth every day managing projects both large and small,” Supervisors Chairman Jeff Dence said. “We are lucky to have a zoning and code enforcement official of Matt’s caliber in Falls Township.”
