The AOY Art Center invites artists from throughout the tri-state area to participate in the 13th Annual Juried Show, a prestigious event showcasing the region’s diverse artistic talent. Entries are now being accepted, and artists are encouraged to submit their best work for consideration.
The esteemed juror for this year’s show, Juliana Ochs Dweck, is the chief curator at the Princeton University Art Museum. Dweck joined the Museum staff in 2010 as the Manager of Interpretation and became the Andrew W. Mellon Curatorial Fellow for Collections Engagement in 2011, later serving as the Andrew W. Mellon Curator of Academic Engagement in 2014. Prior to her current role, she was a postdoctoral fellow at the National Museum of American History and worked with the National Museum of American Jewish History as well as the National September 11 Memorial Museum.
Artists interested in participating can find detailed information—including the full prospectus—at aoyarts.org. The deadline for submissions is Saturday, March 15, and the exhibition is scheduled to take place from April 11 to May 4. Each artist may submit up to three pieces, with an entry fee of $40 for members and $55 for non-members.
Cash prizes will be awarded to outstanding entries, and the AOY Art Center is pleased to announce the sponsorship of Honorable Mention awards by Jerry’s Artarama of Lawrenceville.
Bette Sovinee, Executive Director of AOY Art Center, expressed her excitement about the upcoming event:
“We have consistently elevated the caliber of our juror selections in recent years, and we believe that Ms. Dweck will contribute to another exceptional exhibition. We encourage artists to seize this opportunity and submit their work for consideration.”
